The lyrics of the song Yeshil Kadhi Partun Raaya by Asha Bhosle convey a sense of yearning for something that has been lost or left behind. The repetition of the phrase "Yeshil Kadhi Partun" throughout the song indicates that the singer is hoping that whatever they are looking for will return to them someday. The singer also describes the beauty of their surroundings, like the blue skies and green grass, but notes that even this beauty cannot dispel their sadness. The line "तुझी एकही खूण उदास भासे सुंदर पिवळे" (even your beautiful yellow color seems sad) suggests that the singer has lost a loved one, and that the memory of this person colors their perception of the world around them.
The lyrics also contain references to jewelry, specifically a green and gold necklace ("हिरवे सोने"), which the singer wishes they could reclaim from someone. The line "गोड गुपित मम सांगु कुणाला गेले बाई भिऊन जिवलगा" (tell me secretly who took it, I feel empty without it) conveys a sense of longing and desperation. Finally, the song concludes with the singer addressing someone as "bhauraya" (brother), pleading with them not to forget the person they have lost.
Overall, the lyrics of Yeshil Kadhi Partun Raaya are a poignant portrayal of grief and longing, with vivid descriptions of nature and hints of hidden emotions.
