The lyrics to Glykeria's song "Ela Na Pame S' Ena Meros" are a plea for escape from the pain caused by love. The singer describes how the person she loves always causes her to suffer even if they have stopped loving her. She wants to know if this is the case and begs for the truth to be revealed. The chorus of the song repeats the invitation to go to a place where no one exists, where they can be alone without any other people or outside influences.
The second verse of the song talks about how the person she loves has often made her laugh and given her small caresses, but also left her alone in the cold to wait. The bridge of the song talks about forgetting the past and never looking back, but sometimes even the singer herself wonders about the person she left behind.
Overall, the song is an emotional plea for escape from the pain caused by a love that has gone wrong. The repetition of the invitation to go to a place without people is telling, as if the singer wants to escape not just from the person she loves, but from everyone else as well.
