Jiska Koi Nahin
Manna Dey Lyrics

In 1988 we were fortunate to visit Shri Manna Dey's residence. His sangeet room was adorned with a platinum disc of this song. He was out of the country but his wife so graciously hosted us. We did eventually meet him in K.C. I fail to understand this comparison thing people do. His life's work proves no one could compare with his skill & talent. To top it all off, he was very humble and a great human being. Signed: Vandana.

The truth, only truth in the whole of creation. The lyricist is a genius, he has to be to have written these sentiments and portray human emotions in such density. Manna Dey has done full justice to this song.

Very good song. When I feel disturbed, grief, since childhood I used to re call this song.I will feel relax.

The comparison is unfair because Manna Dey sang for a old fakir while Kishore Kumar's version was for the young Hero and hence they sang in contrasting styles. Moreover, Manna Dey himself was aging when the song was recorded, which took a toll on his voice.

....haha hehe,,gotcha!!😂
..you already said it took toll on manna boys voice..
.therefore kishore is the greatest😂😂

V You are woefully wrong. Manna Dey was around 8 years older than Kishore Kumar and he sang the song when he was approaching 60. Kishore Kumar's voice also got deteriorated towards the end of his career.

V You don't know anything. Manna Dey and kishore kumar both are the greatest. Manna Dey was 70 years old when he recorded this song. And kishore kumar was 50 year old when recorded this song. Manna Dey sang classical gazal thumri religious and other languages song. Both are the greatest.
