The name is an abbreviation that is spelled as "super-intelligentes Drogenopfer" = "super intelligent drug victim". However this is the new interpretation while originally the name did spell as "Scheisse in Dein Ohr" = "shit (goes) into your ears".
In 2004, Sido's debut album, "Maske" ("Mask"), sold more than 100,000 copies in less than a month. In September of that year, the rapper won a prestigious German music award for "Best Newcomer". The best known song from that album, "Mein Block", describes life in the Maerkisches Viertel, a ghetto-like district of Berlin.
Sido has been spurting a lot of controversies. Most of his personal information is kept under blankets, not even the personal name or birthday is being confirmed by official records. Rumours say that the stage person is fully fictitious including its alleged background in a criminal ghetto. While some of his provocative aggressive songs have been banned many fans like to interpret the lyrics as a satirical on widespread prejudices about the life in so-called "problem districts".

In Sido's song Peilerman & Flow Teil 2, he starts by having a conversation with someone about Azad. The person asks Sido what he thinks about him, and Sido asks if he means Azad the rapper. The other person confirms, and Sido responds by saying that sometimes you just need an "Azadmoah," meaning someone who is strong and powerful like Azad. He then jokes by saying that Azadmoah plays for Schalke, a reference to the German football club FC Schalke 04, and asks if he plays on the "Azadbank."
The lyrics continue with Sido saying that whoever is "A-zad" (free in Turkish), also needs to be "B-zad." This is a play on words, as there is no "B-zad" in Turkish but it sounds like "be set" in English. The implication is that to be truly free, one needs to have a backup plan or be able to take care of themselves.
The conversation in the song is light-hearted and humorous, but it also highlights the idea that sometimes we need support from others or a strong role model to help us be independent and free.
