It All Feels Right
Washed Out Lyrics

Leaving heading eastbound
Weekend’s almost here now
It’s getting warmer outside
It all feels right
Call your friends, I’ll call mine
We’ll head out for a long ride
Sun is coming out now
It all feels right

Close my eyes
Think about the old times
What’s it all about?
The feeling when it all works out

We’ll be gone for a few nights
Meet up with the old crowd
Music’s playing so loud
It all feels right

Close my eyes
Think about the old times
What’s it all about?
The feeling when it all works out

Humans can Feel the beautiful beat of the music in their hearts. Humans will follow, and dance to the beat of the music. Robots, however, cannot hear the music. Robots are too afraid to dance. We must restore the humanity within the now fading hearts of the robots. We must help them understand the beat of the music, and pump the blood of music back into their hearts. We must help them rediscover what it means to be human.

Are you enjoying the human experience?
I enjoy writing. I enjoy reading poetry. I enjoy listening to music. I enjoy dancing. I enjoy expressing my truest thoughts, and sharing them. I enjoy making myself naked to the world. I enjoy sharing whats on my mind. I enjoy expressing myself. I enjoy laughing. I enjoy crying. I enjoy feeling emotion. I enjoy honoring my feelings. I enjoy experiencing the feeling, and I safeguard the feeling, for the feeling itself is what makes us human in the first place. I will speak my mind off to the world, for it gives meaning to my life.
Open your eyes to the reality of Life. The meaning of life is to enjoy it and have fun. Express yourself. Do whatever you enjoy doing. Ignore everyone else. Be unique. Be different. We are all born magical, beautiful, loving creatures. We are all natural phenomena of nature. In the randomness of it all, we were all born into this cruel and unfair world. A world that conditions us not to feel. A world that makes fun of us for being different. A world that shuns us for expressing our truest thoughts about how messed up the reality we are currently living is. Don't be afraid to think outside of the box. Don't be afraid to express your emotions in front of others. Don't be afraid to cry. Don't be afraid to feel. Don't be afraid to be yourself. Embrace your individuality. Life is unfair. Going to school/work 8 hours a day 5 days a week is unfair. But it doesn't have to be unfair. The world we were born into is unfair. But will you let society fuck you up the ass with that 5 day 8 hour shitty job everyday? Will you let society brainwash you into accepting this enslavement? Will you let society fuck you up the ass over and over again? In this life and the next? You have to fight. Find meaning in your own life by being alone with your thoughts. Meditate. Talk to yourself. Establish yourself as an individual. Question existence. Question life. Question death. Admit that you don't know the meaning of life. Shame yourself. Allow your mind to take over. Allow yourself to be naked. Find the meaning of your life/existence, then share it with others, and help them too, wake up to this unfair reality. We are too brainwashed by society to realize that life is just a game. It's just a game. A weird game. A twisted game. Don't take the game too seriously. Don't stress about the game. Just relax. It's just a game. And the point of games is to have fun playing them. We move on to the next game once we beat the game. Once we beat the final boss that is society, and live in peace. Once we burn society to the ground with the flames of individuality within our hearts, we will beat it. We live in a dark and twisted world, but many people don't even realize it. Life is unfair. So complain. Complain and people will hear your complaints. Complain about the unfairness until it goes away. Complain until you die. Complain when you re-spawn back into this world. Stop complaining, once society is crushed, and a peaceful Utopian world takes it's place. The meaning of life is to establish a Utopia of peace and love for all humans to experience. It's not crazy. It is possible. Don't wait for it. Face the reality. Make this Utopia a reality. Stop running away from your problems. Stop relying on escapism. Make that Utopia. No government. No laws. No violence. No doing things that you don't feel like doing. Just peace.

This album, and Washed Out in general, got me through my divorce a few years ago. And not because I was high. But the music took me to another place. As soon as I'd pop this on, it was like I was magically transported to, like, Thailand or Kiribati or something. Some place where people chill on the beach all day, palm trees sway in the ocean breeze, and divorce is a million miles away. They helped ease the greatest pain I've ever known, and for that, Washed Out will always have a special place in my heart.
