Muero Por Ti
Rocio Jurado Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Rocío Jurado's song "Muero por ti" is a passionate love ballad that speaks of the all-consuming feelings of love that the singer has for her partner. The lyrics are filled with vivid imagery that describes the different moments and emotions that arise in a relationship, both good and bad, and how the love between the two individuals brings them closer together. The song begins with the singer talking about the moments that she hears her lover's voice in the morning, on the beach or when she is feeling uncertain about the future. She then transitions to talk about the passionate moments of the relationship such as lovemaking and when she is overwhelmed with emotion that makes her cry out. The chorus repeats the refrain of the song, where the singer repeatedly professes her love for her partner, whether she is awake or dreaming, near or far, she always thinks of him. The bridge is a reflection of the love that exists in their relationship, describing the moments where they are both happy or scared, and how even in the silence, she loves him deeply.
