The sheer immersion of this track truly is a wonder to behold! It makes one feel like they themselves are being lifted off from our planet’s surface and making the journey to pay a visit to Earth’s only natural satellite while being carried by a liquid hydrogen-powered rocket! Absolutely inspired, Thomas! Bravo!
In addition, it also reminds me of Jules Verne’s novel “From the earth to the moon”

Quite co-incidentally, i was watching few classic SF movies dealing with space/moon journeys.

am I the only one that had a heavy deja vu feeling when first listening to it?
i know this is a brand new original piece but the brass at 1:20 is exactly what i anticipated (or vividly remember as if i’ve listened to it before, notes by notes) with the image of a rocket launching site at night running in my head too.

The small brown-haired boy stepped on to the steel platform, a canopy of windows the size of skyscrapers arrayed in front of him. He looked out in wonder, gazing at the twinkling lights that drifted in the endless darkness. Space was an inhospitable place, but there was a certain beauty to it as well. His mother looked down at him with barely-concealed worry; technically no civilians were allowed in the observation deck when the ship went to warp speed. She gripped his hand tightly, and he gripped hers too. But he wasn't afraid. Only curious.
"Alright passengers," came a gruff voice through the intercom, booming across the huge, mostly empty room. "This is your captain speaking. We are clear to engage the warp drive, and will soon be traveling at the speed of light. Make sure to strap in."
They boy's eyes widened at that, and he finally allowed his mother to pull him to the corner of the room. There were a number of hard seats laid out there, and all of the other people in the room already had their seatbelts locked in, looking at the older woman incredulously. His mother helped him into his seat, her fingers trembling.
The ship lurched to a start, and he gasped as his mother fell almost comically into her own chair. She gasped as well, breathing heavily, and after a brief moment of visible panic she managed to strap herself in. Meanwhile the ship rapidly gained velocity, some of the distant orbs of light growing larger. He leaned as far forward as he could while being restrained by the metal buckle, gazing at the view shifting in front of his rapt eyes.
The ship began to tilt ever so slightly as the speed increased even still, and the boy found his stomach dropping to his legs. He was forcefully pushed back into his seat as the pressure became palpable. Planets passed them by, enormous spheres of rock and water circling in the blackness for eternity around their own orbs of pure energy and light. A grin spread across the little boy's face unbidden as he caught a glimpse of an immense cloud filled with various shapes and colors floating in the distance, enveloping a dozen or so pinpricks of light. No more than a mere second later they were passing straight through the cloud, tendrils of orange and blue shrouding their ship, which was tiny in comparison. His mouth fell open in amazement as he beheld the stars above and below them, glowing with ethereal grandeur.
"Where are we going?" he whispered to his quivering mother. Her eyes were bulging out of their sockets, and she appeared to be holding back a scream. "Is this a rocket to the moon?"
His mother turned towards him then, and offered a tremulous smile. "My dear child," she said in shaky voice, sounding far less confident than she usually did. "We are going to see all the moons."

This is the first time that I actually prefer the pop version of a track over its orchestral only version! Don't get me wrong, both are amazing, but going back to the orchestral version makes me feel like something is lacking. The lyrics and additional percussions take the sheer excitement up a notch. Definitely makes it to my Top 5 Bergersen pieces of all times!
