Renowned for her voice range and often credited for her versatility, Bhosle's work includes film music, pop, ghazals, bhajans, traditional Indian Classical music, folk songs, qawwalis, Rabindra Sangeets and Nazrul Geetis. She has sung Hindi, Assamese, Urdu, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, English, Russian, Czech, Nepali, Malay and Malayalam.
In 2006, Asha Bhosle stated that she had sung over 12,000 songs, a figure repeated by several other sources. The World Records Academy, an international organization which certifies world records, recognized her as the "Most Recorded Artist" in the world, in September 2009. The Government of India honoured her with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.

That word itself has not been made which would aptly describe the acting excellence of Dilip Kumar sahab , my all time favorite actor . I never feel he is acting , he removed the barrier between appearance & reality . Never do I find any inappropriate thing in his acting . No doubt the great Satyajit Ray sahab christened him with the title 'The Ultimate Method Actor' . Although there are many other excellent actors in the showbiz with whom people often compare with him , but truth is that while those people often chose inappropriate subjects , it's Dilip Kumar sahab who always chose subjects where it has a strong appeal , a powerful role for him to play & where he could give his best . That is why , even very few of his average grosser films are known today for his performance & songs in particular . He never wasted his talent by signing any stupid film or a role which won't suit him although he was highly versatile . He is my most favourite actor & I adore him in high esteem . He is my idol ❤ & I always miss him dearly . May his soul rests in peace . Thank you so much for uploading this iconic trendsetter film .
