The lyrics of Asha Bhosle's song "Dekho Bijli Dole" describe the beauty and radiance of a person through the metaphor of lightning. The singer invites the listener to witness the swaying and dancing of the lightning, even in the absence of clouds. The shining bindi on the forehead and the jingling sound of anklets add to the enchantment of this lightning-like person. The lyrics portray this person as someone whose presence is electrifying and captivating.
The second verse further emphasizes the brilliance and allure of this person. Their vibrant colors and golden glow are compared to shimmering jewels. The lyrics also suggest that this person does not stay stagnant, but rather moves with grace and elegance, like a dancing flame. Their presence catches the eye and leaves a lasting impression. The lyrics convey a sense of fascination and admiration for this mesmerizing figure.
In the final verse, the lyrics describe the person as someone who stumbles and regains balance like a tightrope walker. They possess a playful and carefree spirit, jumping and flickering like sparks from a fire. Even though they may stumble and fall, their beauty remains constant. The world is left in awe of their captivating eyes. Overall, the lyrics celebrate the radiant and alluring presence of this person, comparing it to the beauty and magnificence of lightning.
