The lyrics to Asha Bhosle's "Aisa Bhi Kya" explore the complexities and uncertainty of life. The first verse compares life to a punishment inflicted on someone who has made a mistake, emphasizing the harshness and unpredictability of existence. The second verse adds to this sense of tumult and chaos, describing an increasing storm and howling winds. Life is depicted as a struggle to survive, with every breath a reminder of the fragility of human existence. Finally, the song suggests that death itself may be preferable to life's difficulties, presenting it as a form of release or escape from the pain of living.
Overall, "Aisa Bhi Kya" offers a poignant reflection on the human condition, asking listeners to consider the inherent challenges and uncertainties of being alive. The song's emotive melody and evocative lyrics combine to create a powerful and moving piece of music.

What is this life?
It's like being lost
And being punished for another's misdeeds
With trembling breaths
Lifeless cries
A growing storm
And strong winds
A lamp is burning
Living in this era
Is difficult in every way
It's the compulsion of being human
For the sake of being human
Even death is a prayer
