The lyrics of the song Zabane Badalte Hain convey an essential message about the ever-changing nature of language. The opening lines "Zabane, zabane badalte hain" means "the tongue changes." The following line, "Har aalam khubaa, ar aalam khubaa," emphasizes that every instance is beautiful in its way. The repetition of words indicates the evolution of language and its ability to change. The traditional ways of speech change with the changing world, where gossip and news pass from person to person, and people can't hold on to the most pristine language.
The next stanza conveys the message that all is not lost. It states that language is a part of the world and with time faces change. The world changes, so does language. The third and final stanzas urge people to ignore a person's accent and communicate with them anyway. Embrace them, as it is imperative to understand one's surroundings and adapt to change. The song's message is to embrace the change and respect all accents and dialects because words are a representation of the evolving world.
