The name "Pledis Girlz" was used for pre-debut activities. The single "WE" was released before PRISTIN's official debut as a treat for fans and as a prelude for what was to come. Along with a music video for WE, Pledis Girlz also released several covers for popular songs on their Youtube channel. These songs included: SEVENTEEN's Adore U, f(x)'s Rum Pum Pum Pum, Girls' Generation's Catch Me If You Can, and I.O.I's Very Very Very.

I love how every time a Pledis group performs this, they always change up the lyrics a bit to show which group they're from. For example, Pledis Girlz used 'Pledis Girlz' and 'Pre-Girls' in their performance and Seventeen used 'S.V.T' and 'After School up and Seventeen'.
Pledis really do a great job training their trainees but seriously suck at promoting their older groups. If I have to be honest, I don't even know if After School will even last. They haven't even had a comeback in three years and I'm pretty sure their contracts end next year. All their first generations left as well. I hope that Pledis gives them at least one comeback before they disband. They definitely will always be my favourite girl group.
Pledis Girlz, from what I've seen, are really talented! I hope Pledis promotes them well.
Now all we're waiting for is NU'EST to perform this.

Some examples are as listed, an unreleased song Roller Coaster was written and choreographed by the girls, Fromis_9’s Glass Shoes was composed by Kyungwon ( Yuha ) & Kyulkyung, last but not the least Sungyeon has credits to most of Pristin’s songs in Writing & Composing. So in the end it’s still Pledis who mismanaged them.
