Wierząc w to przyjechałaś, aby spełnić swoje sny
Musisz oddać swoje ciało, przecież trzeba jeść i pić
Pozbawiona wiary, pozbawiona nadziei
Pozbawiona radości, pozbawiona sumienia
Za parę groszy będzie wierną kochanką
Uwierzy w każde Twoje najpodlejsze kłamstwo
Byle mieć złudzenie ciepła i miłości
The Analogs's song "Blask Szminki" tells the story of a woman who left behind her past life to pursue her dreams of fame and success in the big city. She once had beautiful, bright hair that shone like the sun, but now it's black as soot, reflecting the dirt and grime of the city. She came to the city believing she could make it big, but instead, she finds herself working at a small topless bar to make ends meet. She has to live somehow, and so she must do what she can to earn some money, even if it means losing her dignity and using her body.
The lyrics depict a woman who has become disillusioned with life, a woman who has lost her faith, hope, joy, and conscience. She's willing to believe even the vilest lies in exchange for a moment of warmth and love from someone. She's trapped in a cycle of living each day as it comes, sometimes better, sometimes worse, trying to survive in a hostile, unforgiving environment. She hides her true self behind a mask of makeup, hoping it will give her the confidence and sparkle she needs. But deep down, she despises the world that made her the way she is, and she sees no way out, no future except for an empty, meaningless existence.
