The lyrics to 秦基博's song "Saiaku no Hibi" (Worst Days) depict a series of unfortunate events and the singer's feeling of being trapped in a cycle of misfortune. The song starts with the singer being rejected by his girlfriend and immediately losing his wallet. As he tries to remove gum stuck to the sole of his shoe, he gets hit by a bicycle. These incidents reflect his ongoing experience of his life always being like this. In the second verse, he expresses his frustration with his convenience store job and decides to run away, but once again, he gets hit by a bicycle, finding himself floating in the air and whispering, "I'll do my best."
Throughout the song, the singer questions whether there will ever be an end to these worst days and wonders if the future holds more of the same. He asks, "Will there be more worst days waiting for me?" He begins to doubt the purpose of his existence, asking, "Why was I born?" However, he decides to stop thinking about it because it only brings sadness. He sings about his lost courage and pride, wishing for a glorious future and hoping that tomorrow will bring a change. Ultimately, he pleads with God to help him rise above his current circumstances.
Overall, "Saiaku no Hibi" is a poignant song that explores the feelings of despair, frustration, and hopelessness that can arise from a seemingly endless cycle of misfortune. It reflects the universal human experience of questioning one's purpose and longing for a better future.
