Medias negras
Joaquнn Sabina Lyrics

Llevaba medias negras,
Bufanda a cuadros, minifalda azul
Me dijo, tienes fuego,
Tranqui, que me lo monto de legal,
Salí ayer del talego,
Que guai si me invitaras a cenar"
Me echo un cable en la lluvia,
Yo andaba con paraguas y ella no
A dónde vamos rubia?"
Aquella madrugada me colgué
Estaba solo cuando
Al día siguiente el sol me desveló,
Me desperté abrazando
Llevaba medias negras,
Bufanda a cuadros, minifalda azul
The song "Medias Negras" by Joaquнn Sabina tells the story of a man who meets a woman on a zebra crossing. She had black tights, checked scarf, and a blue mini skirt, and was fighting with her purse against a bus. She asks him for a lighter, and he accepts. She then reveals that she was recently released from jail and requests him to invite her to dinner. They end up going to his house, and he offers her a mattress and his love, which she agrees to. They eat soup and drink wine, and she asks what they should do about their clothes. The singer, who always believed that his religion was a woman's body, has a sexual encounter with her.
The morning after, he wakes up alone with the absence of her body on his mattress. It is worse that she has stolen his money and heart. She is like a Cruella De Vil, with her innocent fairy skin by night and wickedness during the day. The singer, who thought he was Steve McQueen, is left heartbroken and alone.
The song explores themes of love, lust, loss, and betrayal. The singer is willing to give himself entirely to this woman because of the attraction he feels. However, she only sees him as an opportunity to steal from him. He is left alone and brokenhearted, realizing that he was not as cool or invincible as he thought. There is also a sense of regret for immersing himself completely in this relationship, knowing that it was never going to end well.
