Walking With a Ghost
by Tegan and Sara

No matter which way you go
No matter which way you stay
You're out of my mind, out of my mind
Out of my mind, out of my mind

I was walking with a ghost
I said please, please don't insist
I was walking with a ghost
I said please, please don't insist

No matter which way you go
No matter which way you stay
You're out of my mind, out of my mind
Out of my mind, out of my mind

I was walking with a ghost
I said please, please don't insist
I was walking with a ghost
I said please, please don't insist

No matter which way you go
No matter which way you stay
You're out of my mind, out of my mind
Out of my mind, out of my mind

I was walking with a ghost
I was walking with a ghost

(I said please) out of my mind, out of my mind
(I said please) out of my mind, out of my mind

You're out of my mind, out of my mind
Out of my mind, out of my mind
Out of my mind, out of my mind
Out of my mind, out of my mind

I was walking with a ghost
I was walking with a ghost
I was walking with a ghost
I was walking with a ghost
I was walking with a ghost
I was walking with a ghost

I remember being sixteen on New Year's Eve, lying on my back on a trampoline, next to a girl I began to realize I was falling in love with, as we shot bottle rockets into the sky as snow began to fall. Later that night, we were in a friends basement sitting next to each other on a couch watching movies. Through the night I eventually gained the courage to take her hand in mine. We welcomed in the New Year spooning together watching dumb movies with friends. She fell asleep with her head on my chest, and it was the best way to ring in the New Year I had ever known. We eventually went our separate ways, she became a writer in New York, and I stayed in the city I was raised in... she introduced this song to me that night, and no matter which way she goes, she's still in my mind.

Man I wish I had a memory of being a teenager that was that good. I'm pretty sure I was already smoking crack at 16. Being a teenager is both awesome and totally lame. But really it's mostly awesome if you just accept being a teenager instead of wanting to grow up and then ironically getting old and wanting to be young again.

Fella Einstein

What a gay little story. You're a beta to the fullest.

I know I’m 5 years in the future from this comment but love has never been introduced and I’m severely depressed but no one knows about it until now and I hate to say that I am depressed but it’s reality and love is just outcasted in my life. Will I forever be lonely? 😔
