Despite his short life, his rapid pace of composition resulted in more than 800 works of virtually every Western classical genre of his time. Many of these compositions are acknowledged as pinnacles of the symphonic, concertante, chamber, operatic, and choral repertoire. Mozart is widely regarded as among the greatest composers in the history of Western music, with his music admired for its "melodic beauty, its formal elegance and its richness of harmony and texture".
Born in Salzburg, then in the Holy Roman Empire and currently in Austria, Mozart showed prodigious ability from his earliest childhood. Already competent on keyboard and violin, he composed from the age of five and performed before European royalty. His father took him on a grand tour of Europe and then three trips to Italy. At 17, he was a musician at the Salzburg court but grew restless and traveled in search of a better position.
While visiting Vienna in 1781, Mozart was dismissed from his Salzburg position. He stayed in Vienna, where he achieved fame but little financial security. During his final years there, he composed many of his best-known symphonies, concertos, and operas. His Requiem was largely unfinished by the time of his death at the age of 35, the circumstances of which are uncertain and much mythologized.

It's such a pity, that so many people can't listen to this unique music without spreading hate.
@JeremiahAlphonsus
It surely is. It's also amazing how their hatred is combined with the supreme arrogance of thinking that non-Catholics could possibly fully appreciate this quintessentially Catholic music.
@benyahun
@@JeremiahAlphonsus Matthew 7-1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
@JeremiahAlphonsus
@@benyahun That forbids hypocritical moral judgment, you dolt. Life is absolutely impossible, and indeed would be nightmarish, without constant moral judgment. For example, responsible parents don’t allow pedophiles to babysit their children. They rigorously judge pedophiles, and rightly so. The verse you cite, so often wielded by idiots, is against hypocrisy, not judgment.
@JeremiahAlphonsus
Truth sounds like hate to those who hate truth.
@toddcriswell434
@@benyahunit’s fine, let the Catholics get whatever extra appreciation juice they can out of the music…still plenty for everyone else to enjoy
@Vryghedacht
What a comment from the author! I am not a Catholic, not a true Christian, but I am full of admiration for the music and the lyrics. Just as I admire this religious music, I admire, for example, Bach's passions, Gregorian sacred music and so on. Why do you have to be a true Christian before you can appreciate and understand this beautiful music from the greatest musical genius ever?
"Et Spiritui Sancto"...
@JeremiahAlphonsus
Yours is the truly astounding kind of comment. As a heathen, you can’t possibly fully appreciate this music. To think that you can is the height of demonic hubris. Notice how many of your fellow heathens here in the comments are also infected by this hubris. Only adherents of the true faith—that is, Catholicism, outside of which there is no salvation—can fully appreciate this music. The rest can appreciate it only in a very limited way.
@JeremiahAlphonsus
In other words, you’re also a fully propagandized, shameless heathen like the rest of the philistines here. Sad. No doubt, three years ago you willingly “masked up“ and pumped yourself with poison, didn’t you? Pitiful. Just pitiful. Might you also have vandalized yourself with tattoos as well? Most likely, as the total conformist you are. Say “MOOOOOOOOO…..”
@DaLiJeIOvoImeZauzeto
@@JeremiahAlphonsus Got to applaud you for originality, I haven't seem someone troll the whole auditorium over a piece of classical music before.
