If you ever feel bad about procrastinating, just remember that Mozart wrote the overture to Don Giovanni on the day of the premiere...

Mozart’s the best of the best

@debussy843 when I was in summer band - a group made off of professionals and kids like me who were invited to play - we sightread the music on Monday and performed it on Tuesday. Who knows how much time they had to prepare?

@Cass Moret I understand that process. I often hear music in my head, and then I do my best to write it down. Fortunately, I never truly learned to play piano, and so writing on the music I hear in my mind has sometimes felt like an arduous process. Another reason to Champion music lessons for kids!

Yes, but Mozart was a prodigy and genius. Only half my brain functions at any given time. 😂

What a genius Mozart was. He was only 35 when he died, I've often wondered what he would have gone on to compose had he lived another, say , 30 years. Astonishing how much great music he wrote in such a short space of time.

Catholic protestant, No, It's Christian, You revive and know Christ you're Christian, Mozart has done so much he's already enough so God took him,if you're good enough God will take you

It's an interesting question. It's clear from his notes to his cousin that he grew extremely weary of traditional Viennese musical custom and had he lived to Beethoven's middle period it is very likely he'd have been inspired by Beethoven's bold revolutionary musical style and go on to make music as his imagination saw fit. That being said his economic situation was precarious so he'd be financially required to make music that pleased the aristocracy. Hopefully this is a sufficient response.
