The lyrics of "Sooni Sooni Saans Ke Sitar Par" are a reflection on life, as perceived through the metaphor of a musical instrument. The song captures the essence of the human experience, with all its joys and sorrows. The first verse describes the feeling of emptiness and melancholy, represented by a sitar that is played with wet strings made from tears. The second verse portrays love as a toy that one gains and loses in life, but must cherish while it lasts. The chorus speaks of how life is like a song and everyone has their own part to play in it. The third verse suggests that the human experience is not uniform, as represented by different flowers that sing or cry, tears that are pearls or water, and laughter that gives and takes away.
Overall, the lyrics of this song convey a deep philosophical message about the fleeting nature of life, the importance of love and the value of every moment. The use of musical instruments as a metaphor helps to create a universal appeal that transcends cultures and languages.
